Is anyone else having a problem with this and if so has anyone found a solution.
If i set my 910 to the correct angle and tighten the lock on the screen mount base the unit gradually drops down (the 910, not the screen mount) on its swivel under the weight of the 910 until it is difficult to read. I then have to reposition the 910 to the correct viewing angle until it drops down again after 20 seconds or so. |

Are you sure you have the mounts locking ring in the true lock position? - the ring should click once for the screen attachment then a second click locks the ball and prevents the droop - this second click can require a very high level of force to secure the device - Mike |

The lock is clicking, the TomTom is drooping. |

If you have the locking ring clicking twice and the unit still droops contact TomTom for a replacement as it must have failed try 0845 1610009 - Mike |

That'll teach me to read helpful posts more closely. I missed the line in your reply that referred to a second click. Have just tried it and found that continuing past the first click does indeed lock the mount completely.
Many thanks. |

Good, your only the 4th person this month that didn't know about the second click, TT really should supply better instructions with their products - it might stop a lot of returns if they did - Mike |
