sony ericssonw950i and tomtom 6

Could anyone confirm that they've loaded TT6 onto a sony ericsson w950i and it works ?

i have 2 days to return an N70 and swop for a 950i under the upgrade rules with orange. obviously if i stick with the N70 im restricted to TTM5
and i have to admit, i do make use of tomtom quite a lot so ideally i need to keep up with the times and goto TT6

The sony ericsson w950i is not a Symbian smartphone so will not work. The only Symbian smartphones from sony erricson use the UIQ interface (not Nokia's) and not even one of the old UIQ smartphones is listed like the P990i.

I have got tomtom 6 UIQ version working on my W950i without any issues what so ever.

It functions perfectly even better than tomtom 5 on my old nokia 6680 and tomtom 6 on my MDA compact II (which had issues with the sound).
