tom tom 300 help wanted plz

when i try to back-up my old memory card from my tom tom 300
and copy and paste to a folder on my desktop it keep's saying grong parameter is incorrect i have set my folder options to show hidden files and folders also unhighlight the hide extensions for known file typed

help plz stuck

Can you say what you are actual doing? How you're selecting the Files. What your Operating System on the PC is.

I don't know why 'parameters' are coming in to it, as they are only Files you'll be copying.

i am using windows xp pro with ser pack 2
i am trying to back-up or copy my original tom tom 300 128 sd card
onto an 1 gig sd card so i can upgrade a lot of the software
i use the instructions as this forum sujests

i copy and paste the files into another folder on my desktop
