Driving acros multiple maps...

I have to take a trip from Belgium across Germany to Autria next week.
While trying to setup TomRom 2 I came acros the following problem;
I have a box of 64MB CF cards. now these are not big enough to fit the full map for my trip but I can load the different sections (4) on 4 different cards. Trouble is; how do I navigate across the different maps without having to restart the application?
At the moment the only solution I have found is to travel across the first section, shut down the applivation insert a new CF card, restart the application etc.
Bit of a pain in the behind really...
Is there a better way of doing it?
I don't mind swapping the cards, but if I could only enter the starting point and destination of my trip properly without having to limit this to one map section at a time...

Unfortunately if you don't have a larger card then that's what you'll have to do. Changing the map would usually be done without having to shutdown TomTom, but I suspect TomTom will cache what's seen on the Storage Card.

Basically buy bigger SD cards! Rolling Eyes

Even if you have all the maps on one card, you will still have to switch between Belgium and Germany, so you still cant plan the whole trip in one go.

My experience is that TTN takes far too long to recalculate when the trip segment is too long, so every time you pull off the autobahn into a service station, it takes a few minutes working out how to get back on.
