Editing posts

Was not sure where to post this so here it is.

I am unable to edit or delete my posts, do I need to be of a certain status in the forum before I am able to do so?

Hi Skater,

Please do a 'Search' on 'editing posts' and you will find that this has been discussed many times on the forum.

It is a feature that has not been implemented for members of the forum (whatever their status) and as yet there are no plans to put this in place.

I obviously wasn’t searching very well before and have now found the threads

Looks like the majority of people would like to have the edit/delete facility, most frustrating when you hit the submit button instead of the preview and find you have posted a load of c**p.

I use another forum regularly and there you can delete if no one has view the post and if you edit after it has been viewed the total number of edits is displayed and the time and date of the last.

That seems to work very well!!!

Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!
