Newbie with lag!

Hi All, thank god there is somewhere like this that people can ask questions. Cheers Pocket GPS World!

So, to my question, I have a BC-307 CF reciever, Hp 2210 PDA and TT2(UK) V2.08 291/378. The set up in TT2 is SiRF 4800, CF card generic.

In the car, using the external ariel I am getting a lock on 5 or so sats no problem. When I am moving I am arriving at junctions, roundabouts etc, way ahead of the map. This is pretty annoying, is there something in my set up I can do to sort this out or is there a problem with the equipment?
I have tried changing the setup to SiRF 9600 etc, but it then does'nt work at all. I have also asked Tomtom, but think I will probably have a bit of a wait on that Crying or Very sad

I would appreciate any help.

TBH, I think part of the problem is because you're using SiRF, switch it back to NMEA, 4800 and you will find accuracy better in general.
