Thanks for the prompt reply Wcushy, looks like I will have to live with what I have or upgrade my PDA.

wcushy: your tests has shown some positive direction since I have a iPAQ-3850 upgraded to PocketPC-2003. Do you think TT6 will work fine on it? As you're probably aware it's a 206MHz processor. Did you see any lag or sluggishness in performance? Please advice. Anyone else with related information please fill in.

Thanks,
mg

mgaitonde, TT6 is compatible with Windows PPC 2003/2003SE/mobile 5.
It should work fine on your 3850, apart from the fact you do not have bluetooth, you will have to find a different gps unit (there is also no SDIO on the 3850 so a SD gps card is also out) I have used mine with a Holux gps and a Navman 3400gps sleeve for the ipaq's and it works for both. Speed is not the fastest and the is a slight lag, but it is an old device, but it is faster than TT5 that I used to run on the same units. I belive it runs faster on the 39xx series Ipaq but these also had a faster processor.

wcushy: Thanks for your quick response. I think by "old devices" you mean 38xx series iPAQs? I hope the lag is not significant enough to cause any hindrance while driving such as missing turns. I wish TomTom had a trial version of their software.

Regards,
mg
