tom tom and toshiba problems

my toshiba e350 crashed and reset itself....have re-installed tomtom on it but it has not asked for an activation code?????i have also tried to update to navigator 2.24 but it wont update it....when i first had my pocket pc i had to get an update from tomtom's website as there is a problem with the gps screen which wont let you select any com ports and keeps asking for the name of the usb device you are conecting making it useless...this is no longer on there site as they have updated it.....
any help would be apreciated

Did you ever resolve this problem? I seem to be having a similar problem. TT will only give me COM1 as an option, not COM4 that the bluetooth gps connects to.

We see you’re using an ad-blocker. We’re fine with that and won’t stop you visiting the site.
Have you considered making a donation towards website running costs?.
Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!
