Hi everyone!

I've a big problem with my haicom 203e. It worked ok until the end of summer... now i've the following problem.

I tested with Winfast and ipaq 3660; winfast receives data from the receiver, it seems all ok... but it never get a fix position!! I've isolated the problem looking in "view/signal level" screen; this is exactly what happens:

in the circle with N,S,W,E appears a satellite (for example # 3 in a green circle), after a few seconds appears another one (for ex # 10) but they remain in the screen “togheter” only for a second!! In fact, when the second one appears, the previous (# 3) disappears and in the screen remains ALWAYS ONLY ONE SATELLITE!! And this again and again with different satellites... never 2 green circles on the screen for more than a second! Why????

It seems that the receiver can’t hold a simultaneous connection with more than 1 satellite... so it can’t determine a 2d / 3d view and a fix position.
I tried “cold start” a hundred of times but nothing changed.

Anyone can help me?? I've sent an email to Dave...
I just want to know if the problem is in the receiver or if I can fix it in some way (NMEA commands???)

Thanks....

Hi

P.S.= I'm Italian, so please sorry if my English isn't perfect!!! Wink

That would appear to be symptomatic of a hardware problem I'm afraid Sad
