The ogg files must be the exact same file name as the coresponding bmp and ov2 files, only the file extension is different. The ogg files reside in the map folder along with the other POI files.

Once installed re-configure you warnings and it will use the ogg sounds - Mike

Sounds like you may have two instances of the database installed at the same time?
Turn off ALL your POI warnings then just enable ONE of the camera ones with an ogg sound. Run a demo route past a camera and see (or hear) what you get then...

Does the ogg Files themselves have the Siren in them? Have you tried any of them in a Sound Editor?

Have you installed the TT Cameras as well?

To find which POI's you have installed, just count up the number of Speed Camera related OV2 Files in the Map Folder.

Are you using a modified data.chk or the original?

It is my understanding that you problem occurs if you are using a modified data.chk with the .ogg method. Revert back to the original and see what happens.

Looking on my 700 hard Drive I have 3 Dat Chk
7120_new.data.chk
data.chk
data05.chk
Could it be one of these effecting the sounds.

The datao5.chk File is the english female voice, aka as Jane.

The data.chk File is the current warning sound File.

The 7120 is the downloaded modified data.chk File.

There can be only be 1 warning per POI, therefore there are 2 POI's for that location, or the Warning has that combination of sounds that you hear.

Have you loaded the TT cameras at any time?

If yes, take them off the card. You can delete them from HOME, I believe.

Is the data.chk File that you have, the original?

If it is, at least we are starting with a clean sheet.

If you go to Warn When Near are you asked which Warning Sound you want?

If it can see an associated ogg File, (one with the same File name) it won't ask you to select a Warning Sound.

How many Camera POI's do you have in the Map Folder? Have they all got corresponding ogg Files?

Just count the OV2 Files, and see if each one has a OGG File.

Can you play the ogg File that seems to be giving the problem?

I use Sony SoundForge, but there are quite a few that can read ogg Files.

All Ov2 files have a ogg.

Use Camera base of PocketGPSworld never used TT

Get Siren then spoken alert

I belive it is the original datachk file but not sure any way to check

Possibly check the date on the File.

If you have a Backup from right after you Upgraded, you can Copy it from your PC.

You didn't say how many OV2 Files you have!

But from what you're saying it looks as if the Sounds you hear are already in the ogg Files. The original Liz Files didn't come with any Extra Sounds, so I'm at a loss.

Just do a count up first.;)
