Having problems getting these discs to work.
Can't get the computer to run setup on sither of them when connected to my palm zire 71.
Help needed please |

I haven't used these on the Palm before, but when you insert the CD is it not autorunning the CD ?
If you try opening up My Computer then double clicking on your CD drive, it should then invoke the AutoRun process.
If it doesn't, try selecting the CD Drive and browsing it, and then running what I think will be the SETUP.EXE file. |

I have no experience of Palm OS whatsoever, but I have heard from people in the past that there may be compatibility problems that prevent these TomTom programs from working on any machine running Palm OS 5.
I could be wrong on this - but it's something that's worth looking into if you've exhausted all the obvious possibilities.

It could be, and the other thing I would check is that these CD's are definately for the Palm, as I remember someone trying to install what was sent to them before and it turned out the CD's were Pocket PC, even though they thought they had purchased Palm versions. |
