POI Icons are transparent

Why have my POI icons gone transparent if they have white backgrounds?
For example, the GATSO icon (black camera on white background) now only shows the black parts of it - what was white is now transparent

Have you recently updated your system software?
TomTom have mucked about with the colour pallette at least once or twice, and third-party icons (such as the PGPSWorld ones) went black and white until they were re-made.
I mentioned to someone in a PM that I'd quite like a transparent background on the ones that I had made (that used to be bundled with the camera downloads), and he replied with a picture of them showing transparent on one of his machines, but they weren't on mine!

If they are the ones from here, try re-downloading them to make sure you have the latest versions.

If they are from elsewhere, you might need to open them on your PC and tweak the background colour to a very slight "off-white".

Yeah it was updated recently to 6.52 I think. I've just downloaded the latest camera database and noticed that they're still transparent if they've got white in them.
I'll have a go at changing to off-white, but I've noticed that a few others are now dodgy - such as my Natwest icon which has transparent bits all over it
