Hi
I have a Navman iCN550.
I appear to have successfully downloaded from Speed Camera Database but can not get the Navman POI editor to accept the files. It keeps saying that they are an 'unknown file format'. I have winzip and have unzipped the files, I think. Any ideas what is going wrong and how to fix it!? |

What format are they in? Are you sure that you've pointed to the unzipped files as opposed to the ones still inside the zipfile? _________________ Tim |

So, you've downloaded the database. Instead of using WinZip, can you try using Windows File Explorer and specify where to unzip the files to? To do this, highlight the zipfile and right-click on it, and then click on Extract all. You can then point to where you want the files to be extracted to. _________________ Tim |

:D :D :D :D Success. I eventually realised that the files were not being unzipped. The NavMan POI editor works fine. Everything is now happily loaded to my satnav.
Many thanks to Tim Buxton for his help on this. I found the forum great reading and really is a fountain of knowledge. |
