Hi everyone, please excuse these newbie questions, but if you dont ask you'll never know.

How do I know which map version I have?

and the ultimate newbie question:

When I return from long journeys and get to a point where I know where I'm going how do I turn the navigation off without turning the full unit off?

I have a TomTom Go 510

Tap the screen where the Sat Signal Bar Graph is, then tap thesmall panel, just above, that displays the Software Version.

You will get a screen full of info concerning your Device. The Map Version is shown on the 5th Line.;)

There is an option to Clear Route. It will be in the Main Menu.

If it isn't you will need to go to Page 3 of 3, of Change Preferences, and Select Show ALL Menu Options.
