If you have an underscore in your e-mail address it appears that you can't enter it in the TOM TOM plus screen using a UK QWERTY data entry screen. Tom TOM support replied to my query "When using the keyboard the underscore sign ( _ ) is found next to the @ sign, to access the hypen sign( - ) this is found by selecting the button with the "123" sign on your keyboard." Only it ain't! they are both hyphens. In desperation I created a new e-mail address so be warned.

On my TomTom One (v1) I can access an underscore using the UK qwerty keyboard by selecting the special character option key (labelled #&?). On the new screen the underscore key( _ ) is on the top line between the (*) and (")
and the hyphen (-) is on the bottom line between the comma ( , ) and the apostrophe ( ' ).

I've got Tom Tom Navigator 6 running on an Ipaq. However they have come back to me and said that you can enter an _ in landscape mode but not portrait mode! As PDAs are inherently used in portrait mode, it makes one wonder. Rolling Eyes
