Would appreciate some guidance please. I'm running POI Warner quite happily with TT6, but, I keep getting the message...
'program Files/POIWarner/syns/sync.setcontains an invalidpath'
Where should I look to delete this, (or will it screw up Warner...even though it's running fine?) Thanks. |

Why do you need another POI warner running? - you can use the inbuilt warning within TTN6 to achieve a working solution without the warning message - Mike |

This is most likely because when you installed POI warner and set it up for a different map directory and it is looking for POI in this none existant directory. If you go to the internal setup and select the POIs for the new map directory it should work OK. Also check these are setup in the online sychronisation folders or the old ones are deleted. Make sure you are using the latest version V2.68 "POI Warner for TT5 & TT6" as earlier versions expect map directories to end in the letters "map"
If this does not work uninstall it, delete the folders and re-install.
It is a shame that POI Warner does not synch with the PocketGPS Camera database as I have just tired this for a month and it is better than POI Handler. Maybe the guys here should talk to POI Warner to get it added? |

Thanks Mike, but I like the flexibility of Warner, two lots of warnings if wanted, each with individual settings if wanted, loads of choice when it comes to POI's....as mentioned...if only it would sync with the safety camera database on this site...even better if it could be used also with POIEdit....one day maybe ?? |

POI Warner can also give a different warning when approaching a safety camera above the speed limit.
I actually use this in conjunction with the TT warnings, I use TT for the visual warning and POI Warner for the audio. I have programmed the bell sound in data.chk to be silent. |
