ive got a mate who has deleted his map from sd card supplied with tt1 .only couple of months old he has no back up what can be done it has 128mb card supplied in the box bg sd card ive looked at his one using tt home ive got all gb maps from tt3 tt5 and tt6 but they are not compatible should i contact tomtom and give serial no and activation code and will they give him the gb map again???? |

Best bet is to contact TT direct and explain the situation. They will need to see copies of the purchase. If they're satisfied, they'll generally send out a new SD Card. _________________ Richard

Does you mate not have a back-up of the original card somewhere on his PC? if not then I would sugest you try contacting TomTom on 08451610009 and see if they will help out, otherwise have a look HERE where you can purchase a download map (I would wait a while though if this is your only option untill any new maps are out, they keep saying soon - Mike |

thanks for reply guys ill get in touch with tt for him he has the receipts and the activation card etc i had already looked at the map purchase but the maps are 200mb for gb whereas the tt card that comes with the machine is 128 ill update as soon as i can cheers for reply |
