ADVICE HP iPAQ 1940

Before i buy a TomTom 2 nav system (non bluetooth type) will my PDA a HP Ipaq 1940 be suitable , i do not want to use a bluetooth conection between the two this being the reason why i want a non bluetooth TomTom 2 ie will the tomtom lead fit into the bottom of my 1940 ,

No, AFAIK the 1940 will only support Bluetooth GPS, so although a lead may fit the connector, there is no true serial port profile going through this connector.
