TOM TOM GO 500 HIGH PITCHED NOISE

have had my device since july this year. Well looked after etc, however it has recently started to make a high pitched noise which is extremely irritating.

Any thoughts? Is it on its way out? Back to shop? Or wear ear plugs? Laughing

Stick your windscreen mount to the outside of the glass?

To make up for it, here's a proper suggestion...

Have a look at your screen brightness settings. You might find that it disappears if you put the brightness to 100%.

Also have a look at the second page of THIS THREAD where it gets a mention.

thanks Andy, have had a look, seems none of the suggestions work on mine. Methinks a call to Tom Tom will be in order.
