Hi

Can anybody help me with a lost transflash card.

My Dad sent his off 2 weeks ago to be upodated to V8 but has not received it back as yet. (Silly fool did not send it by recorded delivery).

He has rung Garmin and they have stated that they are not updating V7 maps anymore as V9 is due out soon.

They pointed him in the direction of a GPS stockist to buy a new one !

Can anybody offer some advice on how he can replace the card without any cost involved.

if garmin dont come up with the goods or you cant find a free one , pm me i've got one for sale..

Okay, so that's fair enough, no more free v8 upgrade. Garmin normally only offer a limited period of a free upgrade anyway, so you can't complain about this. Also, there are right, v9 is nearly out, and you have to purchase this when it is released (as you are not entitled to a free upgrade to this).

However, I assume Garmin are sending back his v7 card (it's not clear from your message)?
