How can i configure this device for ttn5 recognize it.

You don't say what your hardware is - but assuming a Windows based PDA...

Pair your 405BT to your PDA.

Create an incoming serial port through BT for your GPS (this will be something like COM6 or 7 depending on your device / operating system etc.

Ensure you have the latest version of TT5 for your PDA (V5.21) as this fixed some BT issues.

Take the whole lot outside into a clear area. Turn your GPS on, turn the PDA on, start up TT5 and wait for a GPS fix. Check the GPS status page on TT5 and see if any of the signal strength bars are showing grey bars. If so - all is working and as soon as a valid position is calculated the bars will turn blue and everything should be OK. This can take upto 30 mins for a first time fix.

If you are not getting any connectivity to the BT unit (nothing in the signal strength bars or a failure to connect I would suggest a soft reset of your PDA first and if this fails a hard reset - but you will need to re-load TT5 and any other apps.
