Advice needed

Hi guys I have went through the post and links on the thread about an Advent GPS400, and I am going around in circles now. There is a few point I need help on.

1. When I am directed to the http://www.amngps4.wanadoo.co.uk/index.htm

It says I need POI warner. I followed the links to it and got to a bit where it asks for a number.Where can i find this number.

2. It also says connect to PC I do not have a USB cabel and was hopeful that I could transfer the data on a spare memory stick as I have a card reader built in to the computer. Can it be done that way. If not can I get a USB cabel from anywhere.

3 When I click on the link to down load camera file it puts me to that page when I click the one for the medion it pust be back to the above link. So I end up going around in circles. How do I download the files.

I have the following on my computer POI edit.
Back up files of the data stick. Avisyth 2.5 what else do I need to try and update and transfer the data across.
