Hi, this is my first post, so please forgive me if this is either the wrong forum, or this has been discussed elsewhere.
I've just bought a TomTom Navigator 2 for my Packard Bell PocketGear 3025. I've installed the software without any problem, but the adaptor that I've been sent (as part of the generic car kit) that goes into the car cigarette lighter doesn't seem to fit.
I've got a Vauxhall Corsa, and I've contacted the dealer who supplied the system, who has said they are willing to send a replacement, but can't guarantee that it will fit either!!!! In the meantime, I can't use the system, because there is nothing to power the GPS receiver.
Are there any other Vauxhall drivers out there who have had the same problem? If anyone knows of a suitable adapter, this newbie would be extremely grateful for any help people can give!!!!!!!!
The TTN2 bundle should fit as it basically uses a Leadtek plug, certainly works okay in Astra Coupe's and Vectra's. Do you mean it fits, but it just pops out or works its way out, not making a proper connection ? If so, you do get this on some cars, it can be down to the springs being too springy in the end of the accessory plugs, sometimes purchasing an extension lead from Maplins or Halfords can help.
