Peeps,
I currently own a Tom Tom Classic. I have never updated the maps only ever the Software. I just downloaded Tom Tom Home which is very useful, and Its reporting that I have version 3.90 of the maps installed.
How do I find out on the Tom Tom website or the Tom Tom Home software if there is a newer version on the Maps out?
Sorry for the noobie question.
Thanks

I have the option within the Home software to update the GB maps for 59.95 Euros. However how do I know there is not another update round the corner? |

There is!
Don't update just yet, TT have been promising an upgrade "soon" for months. |

Thanks Andy for the response. I thought the Update was meant to be around May/June.
Maybe I'll drop an email to Tom Tom and ask them when the update is due. Also slightly off topic. I can't edit my posts? is that because I need to pay £2 for one months subscription?
Thanks

You could try, but you'll only get "soon" as a reply (You'll probably hear about it on the forums first!

No:- ages ago, PGPSW found a major bug in their forum software (I think you could edit anyone's posts!). Rather than update the software, they disabled all editing.... |

Called Tom Tom,
Hopefully before the end of the year I was told. They also stated to subscribe to the newsletter (which I already am) as it will be on there when people are informed the updates maps are available. |

Not again!!!
First it was "Quarter 2". Then it was "Quarter 3". Then it was "Soon". Now it's "Hopefully before the end of the year". I suppose next it will be "Before the general election". |
