As the title, has anyone had a PAYG phone work first time with TTT? By that I mean that you just pressed the icon to connect and it all went through without having to enter the APN, IP etc?
If so, what phone and what network? And tarrif?
Cheers people - I've been trying to get this working on my Orange PAYG and it fails at the 'Wireless' connection bit :x so I'm going to give up and get a phone/network that works! |

Hi Dixie68
I had it working with my Vodafone PAYG without any issues and used it this way for about a year. I now run it off my company phone so don't use the PAYG one anymore but as I say it ran without any issues.
I had vodafone help send me the config to my phone via text and this all seem to work ok.
Hope this helps. |

Hi Bill11
I'll see if I can dig out my PAYG phone but it might be quicker to call vodafone support explain you want GPRS working on your phone and they should be able to send you a text to set the configuration in your phone it only took a few mins when I did it.

For vodafone the script is different for payg and a few other bits. I forget but I have posted it elsewhere in this forum under a different title. |

Orange PAYG with on a Nokia 6630 automatically configured itself first time and works perfectly, and costs approx 10p per hour. _________________ Regards
