I have used TomTom Menu Designer Beta 1.5 to redesign the layout of the menus for TomTom navigator software on my A201.

I am then told to transfer the file created by the designer (TomTom.mnu) to a directory called SdKRegistry to the TomTom directory in the "main memory" of the A201.

At the moment the relevant directory structure is as shown below:

--------------------------------------------------------------------

- Mobile Device
- My Windows Mobile-based Device
+ Storage Card
+ TomTom (No 1) (empty)
+ Tom Tom (No 2) (empty)
- TomTom (No 3)
+ SdkFilecalls (empty)
+ SdkRegistry (empty)
- TomTom (No 4)
CurrentMap.dat
Data05.chk
Data05.vif
France-xxxxxxxx.mac
Great_Britain-xxxxxxxx.mac

--------------------------------------------------------------------

I know that TomTom.mnu should not go into menus marked No 1 and No 2 but I am not sure whether the two directories SdkRegistry and SdkFilecalls should be in TomTom directory No 3 (where I have initially put them) or in TomTom directory No 4.

It seems to me that I should be in TomTom directory No 4. I am rather confused by the fact that there is a directory called My Windows Mobile-based Device with a series of other directories alongside. Hence my confusion as to what is the main directory!

Please advise.

Sod it.

All my careful alignment using spaces has been totally ignored making the directory structure meaningless.

I will have to try and edit the original post to make it have meaning.

I have used leading full stops to get the correct alignment, please ignore them.

The directory structure is as below. (How can I get formatting here without resorting to such pathetic means?)

- Mobile Device
.......- My Windows Mobile-based Device
..............+ Storage Card
.....................+ TomTom (No 1) (empty)
.....................+ Tom Tom (No 2) (empty)
..............- TomTom (No 3)
.....................+ SdkFilecalls (empty)
.....................+ SdkRegistry (empty)
.......- TomTom (No 4)
..............CurrentMap.dat
..............Data05.chk
..............Data05.vif
..............France-xxxxxxxx.mac
..............Great_Britain-xxxxxxxx.mac
