Deleting every extra loaded after purchase

I have had a Garmin Streetpilot I3 for a while but never bothered to download update or anything. Now I have done and regret it big time!
Whilst in York I did a quick search for the nearest McDonalds and according to the Garmin the closest one was in Calais ... doubt it!!!

I would like to get rid of all the extras in it, mainly POIs.
I have tried reseting it but it only has deleted my favourites.

Can anyone help Pleeeease? it is driving me insane

if its the pois that come on the unit when new these cannot be removed as they will be coded into the map data

No it is actually the POIs that I have added after.
I downloaded speed cameras and all sorts but they are more of a problem than anything else.
So I want to delete what I have loaded not what came originally with the i3
