Nightmare... on the PGPSW map on the subscribe page, there are fifteen symbols on that short section, all of them marked either "remove" or "have been removed". None are showing as active. Whats going on guys? |

last time i went down that road (last year) there werent fifteen cameras there it maybe that some has done the a17 trick sent in positions of camera signs and the cameras may have been taken out accidentaly due to human error
im not saying this what happened just putting an explination as what might have happened _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone. Good bye IOS don't let the door hit you on the way out .

I've also noticed in the latest version of the DB, plus the previous one issued in August, that 4 cameras are missing on near the A406/M11 junction. This includes the one at the bottom of the M11 that is reported to be the most profitable in the country.
The other 3 are beteween the A12 and Ilford junctions. Beware.

just been down the A13
there are 3 cameras missing from the current Cam DB
inbetween the A406 junction and Canning Town Underground station
These three cameras where in a previous version of the DB
and now seem to be missing.
I have submitted all three
Does this mean I now get Life time subscription ???
(Once verified that is) |

I consider this one to be a serious ommission and noticed it myself on the way to West Ham the other day. I have also reported a couple of "missing" cameras and am losing faith in the database. Having said that Tom Tom's isn't perfect either. _________________ Mike

Only a guess mind. Just seems odd that this used to be bang on for ALL cameras I came across. But now-days seems to be littered with missing cameras. I do hope things sort themselves out (or are sorted out) soon though |

We are probably being plagued by new users trying to get their free subscription.
Perhaps PGPSW should triple check all removal requests from none subscribers before the DB gets completely borked. |

I thought that when the database went to charging all cameras were going to be verified?
Cheers

They have said in previous posts that:
1 ) the reason for delays in getting new cameras or changes on the D.Base is the time taken to validate them.
2 ) that they added a whole lot of mobile sites on recently that were un-verified; and when asked why, said "isn't it better to know about them than not?" or words to that effect. |

I noticed that there were 3 new camera's added on the section of the A14 between the A11 and Cambridge, in fact there is only one. I had several camera's along the A10 from Royston through to the M25 that simply don't excist or are the ones on the blue poles that are not speed camera's.
It all seems a bit of a mess at the moment.

So don't put them on until verified, protect the integrity of the database otherwise who is going to pay for it.......

How do you verify a mobile site....it keeps moving. Chances are when you went to verify it, it wouldnt be there. A mobile site needs local knowledge for verification.
Cheers

They appear to be on Tomtoms list of cameras.
Getting confused now as their appear to be an increasing number of reports of missing camera's here lately. |

These should all be back in the database now. The subscribed users who reported them as being removed have been noted and contributions from them will be closely scrutinised in future. _________________ Mike Barrett |
