I have had many problems with locking up and decided to reload the software. I have the original files from when I initially bought the machine.
I have formatted the TT but what next? I thought I would be able to copy and paste the original files to the hard drive but only receive a red cross logo.
Could someone kindly talk me through the procedure.

When you say you have formatted the TT was this done from your PC if it was then my first thought is that you have formatted it to NTFS when i suspect the TT should be FAT 32

It was from a PC ..... but using the correct format. I have another backup (made through HOME) but ideally would prefer to reinstate to the original spec.
