Can someone please direct me to (with a link to the download for the latest update. Maybe I'm stupid but I have spent 30 minutes trying to find the download link.

The latest updates can be found here.
If you're looking for Nav 6 it isn't available yet, and won't be a free upgrade. Pricing and availability of upgrades is yet to be released - register for TT's newsletter to be told in due course. We're all hoping to have our mits on Nav 6 by the end of October... but no promises!

If you mean an update to the TTN software, you need to check out www.tomtom.com. If you mean the pocketgpsworld camera database, look in the left hand column, under Camera Help Guides, and follow the TomTom Navigator 5 link.

I was surprised when it announced I had updates
