Can anybody help with this....I have downloaded pgps cameras to the DS with no problem.....However when I come to download this months I am getting'File Format error! I have unzipped the files and there are two files showing 'pocket UK masters and pmobile' & 'pocket UK sc'. These show as Excel files and I can view the data with Excel. When I go to load them to the DS i get the 'ERROR FILE FORMAT' message. Also do I load both files. |

I would re-install the database, it does sometimes have "hick cups" in installing.
'pocket UK masters - is the main camera database without the unverified mobile cameras,
pmobile' & 'pocket UK sc' - is the main camera database, plus, includes every mobile seen (or think it might be a camera, but not sure, but listed anyway)
You only need to install one file, I install the latter as i prefer to know anywhere the little might be hidden, but it is for individual preferences. _________________ TomTom Go 60

Definately still something wrong! I have downloaded and unzipped the files again and I am still getting the same error. Has anyone downloaded the latest database successfully? |

it's an issue with the 'order' of the points... they need to be in longitude order and the new download system messes this up a bit... as a consequence i've resorted back to the old download system just for the drive smart files while we get it sorted. consequently it means the (hopefully temporary) loss of international cams for DS users

Are you changing the UK version now, or the next database.
Not a problem, but just wondered whether to put the unit back in the car today.
Thanks. _________________ TomTom Go 60
