Trouble with paint etc. is they pretty soon realise there's something up when they dev the film.

An improbable but cool way might be to get some clear self adhesive polarising film and put this over the lens cover with the polariisation in the up-down orientation. People in the know do this to their local camera and also put film on their front and back plates - oriented left / right. Most folks get bagged but the odd few appear to have black plates - they might assume it was purely a car-based countermeasure for a while.

Probably not. I've just given the gane away by putting this on a public site. Doh!

Hmmm.... Most GATSOs are still radar triggered. I think I'll phone my friendly neighbourhood government surplus store and see if they have any automatic chaff launchers... or a Harrier GR4 ECM pod would look nice on my Passat; they'd think it was just a roof box... Hah!!

B"gger. Nurse is coming with my tablets. Gotta go...

Thumbs Up

A small box of tricks that sent what looked like a genuine radar reflection of a speeding car back would be good. Hide it in the bushes near the camera and watch the camera fire all its film off on a empty road Smile

Nice. Or just sit there and fire it manually when Police cars, Milk Floats and Wrinkly piloted Volvos go past?

In my area it's the bloody wrinkly-piloted Volvos that are the most dangerous! 8O
