What on earth has a cop getting convicted for travelling at 159 mph and being given an absuloute discharge (whether you agree with that decision or not), got to do with where a sat nav should be mounted ? _________________ Tommo...

It was brought up because of the post by chauf4, in which he said that if the police do something then others won't get in trouble for doing it.

Perhaps, a lot. For travelling at that speed it should be mounted on a part of his anatomy where the sun don't shine. |

I mount my ONE so it is directly above, and at the same focusing distance to the instruments. It is stuck to the area covered by the sweep of the wiper blades (but then so are the wiper blades!) but only obscures my view of the top of my bonnet. If I was much shorter there might be an issue. |
