Any ideas when we will be able to buy a second mount/charger for the new v2 TT1 or when the likes of Brodit will make one?
The one supplied is good, no critisism, just want another of some sort.

Good question. Thankfully the power connector is at the bottom so Herbert Richter or Brodit could do a proper active mount too. _________________ Lutz

Hi
The seal on the new TT1 v2 mount seems to break very easily when the tab is pulled. Has anyone had problems with it falling off their windscreen yet, particularly last weekend when we had some warm weather?

No problems so far with mine failing, infact it seems to stick even on curved shape of the windscreen , I think this is due to the fan shaped plastic fingers behind the suction cup allowing it to mould its shape to the curve of the glass. |

seconded. This is the first mount that has a serious chance of clinging to the heavily curved windshield of my car. _________________ Lutz

No problems here neither. First couple of times I put it on it did fall off but it was in honesty cos I hadnt pressed on hard enough. Press the mount on without the TT on it so you can get more grip on it.

You just need to press squarely on the centre of disc with your thumb as this splays the 'fingers'. I couldn't pull it off without using the tab. |
