Just a quick update following a device change.....
I now use a TT710 with application 6.525 (7714/070417) which works with Western Europe map version 675.1409 and Western Europe map version 660.1219, and also Canary Islands map version 660.1219. _________________ Tommo...

The Classic can use the latest Software and use the latest Maps.
There is no problem.
The matrix has no crosses against the PND versions so it's not a definite 'won't work'.
I think the reason for the lack of information concerning 675 Maps on the Matrix, is that no-one has bothered to report the fact that it does work. _________________ Richard

I called TomTom and they said that the 720 can only use maps 7.x upwards. It is not backwards compatible with 6x maps? Is that right? _________________ TTG 720

I'm guessing you'd not be too willing to pay for a download to prove what they say is correct and the map doesn't work!! _________________ Dennis
