yes i have install Resco registry Explorer and went in registry HKLM then control panel then gps settings but there was 'default' instead of group, i gave number 2 in the box of string cos default was not being deleted by keyboard, the i restarted the windows on mobile but still there is no icon in start |

Have you rechecked your registry to make sure that it has saved as
HKLM\ControlPanel\GPS Settings\Group = 2 (DWORD decimal)
and did you delete the redirect value?
Also try changing the Group to 0 or 1 to see if the icon shows on one of the other tabs... |

Hi Noony
Sorry couldnt reply you in time cos gone out for couple of days and came back yesterday. The problem became nightmare for me cos i spent the whole day and the time when i sent you my last messege till then it was unsolved. the reason i was unable to delete 'redirect' folder in the registry, then i spent more time what is the reason i am unable to delete it, i tried from different way to delete, finally got it that press and hold and it gives you the option to delete, and it was done. i cant tell you how glad i was when i saw gps in the settings. atlast every was done fine as you told. the gps receiver was paired up and tomtom got it. i really thankful to you for the time and responses you given to me. in fact you made me an advance user of pc phone. regards |
