Checking properties of updates

I am a complete Newbie and have just acquired a Nuvi 300 on Ebay; previous owner had installed 5 types of camera (Gatso, Specs, Mobile speed trap etc.) However I can only locate these by scrolling alphabetically to each one individually in the Custom POI screen. They do not appear on the map or when navigating and there is no Proximity Alarm setting facility on the settings screen.
I assume that I need to download Garmin loader, but is there any way to tell when these files were last updated and whether they were downloaded as a single file, or as multiple ones.?
I believe that the existing files were downloaded from PGPS as I don't think they were included as standard on the Nuvi 300.
