Navigator failing to star

Hi,

Running TomTom Nav 3 on XDAIIi for a couple of years with no problem,

Now TTN3 fails to start, Hard reset done, eveything re-installed without problems.
When start TT the little box with the circle that goes round is there but nothing happens. Been like that now for nearly an hour,, only way to exit is soft reset.

I have had no changes or upgrades to the XDA,
Everything worked wel last weekend

have you tried formatting the sd card (take a full backup first)

Hi Alex, Thanks for the reply, the only prob I have with formatting the card is that I have tried but can't find how too Laughing Out Loud

sorry for being so dim witted, but can you talk me through it ?
I went to storage card through my pc but can't see how to format

I appempted to format my sd card through my card reader on my home pc printer. All i got was a message saying that "cannot format at this time, please close all other windows and retry" It was the only window open on the pc ?

What position is the "Lock" switch in on the SD card? - make sure its NOT locked, then try in the card reader again - Mike

Hi, Thanks for all the advice,, Downloaded a prog that formatted my sd card,, Navigator working a treat, must have been a corrupted card,
