TomTom slow on H3970 or H3975 with SD Cards

Some users have reported slow responses with TomTom Navigator 2 especially when looking up addresses. HP pointed me to this update. If you have a 3970 or 3975 with Rom version 2.10 this update sorts it out. The error is in the driver for the SD card.

When you run the update you get an expected error message, do not respond to it, just wait until you get another message saying Rom Update Complete. You do not loose any information by doing the update.
