Hi Can anybody help,

I have just downloaded and installed the POI into my ViaMichelin and works a treat however I also reveived bmp files within the zip.

Does anybody know what the bmp files are for, as far as I can see they are of no use in the application itself.

Hi Den, the BMP files are to use, if you want, they are displayed on the map, as you are driving, or you can make your own, as I did. when a speed camera comes along, you get the little image of the camera on the map, showing you where the camera is. You must have used a BMP image when you put the speed camera POi on your ViaMitchelin. POi Manager asks what catergory you want to use, you don't want the speed cameras coming up as "Airports", or "Car Parks", so you use your own BMP or the one in the download. There is a "how to", at the top of the ViaMitchelin Forum.
