Hi,

I'm a newbie to GPS and would like to ask out of a Navman ICN310 and ICN320 is generally considered to be a better buy.

I'm not sure what the exact difference is between these two products but IMHO Argos are charging a lot of money for the ICN310 @ £249.99 (although this item is meant to be on offer at the moment, their web-site isn't showing the promo price of £149.99), particularly as eBuyer are charging £99.99 for the ICN320 delivered. (QF: 98994).

I like the idea of adding a Speed Camera database onto a GPS but understand that this cannot be done on a Navman product. Is this correct?.

Can anyone recommend a reasonably cheap GPS that does facilitate adding of a Speed Camera database?. The PNA150's from Aldi seem to be no longer available probably due to the fact that they'd heavily discounted them around some 2-months ago. Guess that Medion are launching a replacement product but if this is going to be like the one's available from Tesco Extra at a guess they're not priced as competitively/cheaply.

Kind Regards.

I just bought a NAVMAN ICN520 from Halfords on special offer for £160.
It takes upto 25 Custom POI's so it handles the excellent Camera Database on this site with ease.

FWIW, buy the highest spec unit you can afford, if you buy bottom end products you are soon wanting the whistles and bells the mid to top range units have. The ICN520 also accepts 5 digit post codes, is really fast getting a first GPS fix in the morning. Not sure how long the Halfords offer is running for, but I got a lot of kit for £160 Laughing

the navman 3xx series isnt able to use the speed camera database and issomthing you should consider have a look at a garmin i3 or a mio 210
or if you can strech to it a tt1

the it depends which medion unit you mean. somthing like the gopal range can use the speed ca,era database but you do need to install a 3rd party applicationto get the warnings
