audible warning of cameras on tomtom go

i have recently downloaded the latest camera database
but the cameras although they are shown on the map ,they dont flash or audible warn like they did before.

Assuming this is on a TomTom based system? have you configured the Warn When Near POI option for each camera, you can get to this by selecting Change preferences/ Manage POI/ Warn When Near POI, configure each camera then the warnings will reapear - Mike

You need to enable them. Go into manage POIs, then warn when near. Choose one and then choose distance to warn and sound. Untick the warn when on route box (otherwise you will only get warnings when you have aroute set). Then repeat for each of the others.

Best bet then is to hide all POIs on map and you will then only get the warnings
