I have just upgraded from Navigator 5 on my HP 2200 to a GO 910. How, assuming there is a way, can I export my TomTom favorites from the PDA and import them into the GO 910?

I have accumulated a lengthy list and entering them all manually would be time consuming and prone to human error.

The favourites are stored in a file called {your mapname}.cfg in your map folder. It holds your favourites, but also your other preferences ( like POI enables, alert distances etc. I think).
Just copying that across works between Go units, but may be less likely to work from Navigator to Go. Back everything up safely, then give it a try?
The other, safer, way is to convert them to a POI category, copy that across, and then convert them back (if you want- or just leave them as POIs)

To change Favourites to POIs, go to Change Preferences, Add POI category.

Create a new category - call it "MyFavs" or whatever.
Then click on 'Add POI'. Select from your original Favourites and add the first to your new POI category. Repeat until all are added.

OK, it's a bit boring but only takes a few minutes.

Then you can easily copy the "MyFavs.ov2" file from the map folder of the old unit to the map folder of the new one.

Does anyone know if there's a way to migrate your Favourites (locations) from V5.21 to V6? It's going to be a pain if you have to re-enter them all!
