Dear All,

New member having problems with my Garmin i3 streetpilot.
I have done what was asked by opening a folder to unzip files for downloading, connected i3 and transferred files successfully. (I have a micro SD card fitted for extra storage)

I have connected it to the car and have the power plugged in, but it now seems to be unable to locate the satalite links. There is a map in the screen, but it seems to be frozen. It asks if I am in doors and have moved location by hundreds of miles or kilometeres and then confirms the current date, it then takes for ever to start up or it does not come on at all.

Can someone help sort this out for me. (I do not have an external GPS Ariel fitted & have batteries fitted)

Have you tried holding it outside of the vehicle to allow it to lock? What car is it?
