303s onto laptop via pcmcia / cf adapter

I am not particularly bright but for three days i have tried and failed to attatch the 303s to my laptop via a PCMCIA adaptor. It works just fine in my ipaq4700 but the xp seees it as a bluetooth accessory and I am unable t install it ither by wizard or manually, Error 10
I have tried downloading the Haicom drivers from their site and have also asked the question from Haicom (Yesterday) but as yet have nad no response
