I have just bought a Garmin nuvi 360.

I have downloaded POI installer from Garmin and have copied it into the Garmin folder it appears as POILoader 232 setup.exe and when I double click it says it is installed.

Have also downloaded the speed camera data base from pocket gps which appears as pgpsw-speed-cams 114KB and is a zip file I think I hve unzipped - have also copied that into the Garmin folder ( with Garmin) plugged into computer but no success - nothing appears on nuvi screen in the form of speeed cameras etc.

Any ideas anyone - would really be grateful for any help.

many thx

peter

Welcome to the forums, Peter.

I assume POILoader works the same for the 360 as for the i3.

Download the Safety Camera Data.

Unzip the Safety Camera Data files.

Plug your 360 into your computer using the usb lead and switch it on.

If POI Loader doesn't open automatically open it manually & then select NEXT & it will search & find your device.

Now select NEXT again then on BROWSE to find the folder where you unzipped the Safety Camera Data files then click on OK.

Make sure the distance & speed is in feet and mph.

Either leave at Express which downloads your Safety Camera Data automatically or change to Manual where you can choose to alter the proximity alerts to suit your individual needs.

Now select NEXT & it will download to your device if you chose Express, or you can alter the proximity alerts of each POI as you keep on selecting NEXT, if you chose Manual.

Once downloaded disconnect your 360 from your computer.
