Recieved My i3 from Maplin, part the Deal was the Speed Cam Data Base on CD.

So Installed the POI updater to my PC and transfered the Speed Zones Files over.
It says that 965 POIs have been added to my unit.

Does that mean only 965 Cameras??? Surely there are more??

That doesnt sound anything like the number of cameras there are within the PocketGPSWorld camera database which contains over 9000 cameras, have you only loaded a single camera set, what folders/ files are on the CD as I am not to conversant with the Maplin disk, perhaps it is time to consider where you get your database from - Mike

I've bought the i3 from Maplin at roughly the same time as Matt-i3, and the csv files in the 'speed zoned files' folder on my CD are dated 2nd May 06.

My Source for the Data Base is the Disc that came with the Unit.
It has the Maplin Logo on the the Pocket GPS world Logo. And a disclaimer from both saying its not a license for Speeding Etc etc..

the .csv files are dated 02 may 2006.....

still stuck on this!!! Sad
