How do i upload the Safety Cameras onto my Garmin Nuvi?

Can anyone give me a step by step guide how to get the speed camera download onto my Garmin Nuiv, i have tried doing through the POI Loader but cannot seem to do it?

First of all you need to create a folder in which you can store all your POI files, as whenever you use POI Loader, it takes all the files in your folder and overwrites any existing POI files on your Nuvi.

Download the relevant file from PocketGPS. Personally I use the one with Nuvi inthe title, as it would appear to be tailor made. Once the file has downloaded, it needs to be unzipped into your POI folder.

Start POI Loader, ensure the units are set to MPH or KMH, depending on where you are, then point POI Loader at your POI Folder and that's it.

As a default, the warnings for speed cameras tend to be given some way before you get to the camera. There are a couple of utilities available on this forum that will allow you to customise the distances at which you get these warnings. Have a look at the stickies at the top of the Nuvi threads. One is by ASH10 the other is by CBROM.
