Tomtom Navigaotr Memory

Hi. im having a bit of a problem with tomtom navigatyor on my t-mobile MDA varion

IT is not saving any dat such as my home and favourite palces and also the alert on the POI's

Ive set them up countless times and every time i go back on the program there are not set up for alerts. any help

Put the memory card in a card reader, using Windows Explorer on the PC open the GB map folder and look for a file Great_Britain_Plus-Map.cfg (if you don't have the Plus map loaded it will be slightly differently named but will still carry the .cfg extension).

Right click the file and select "Properties" from the pop-up box, untick the "Read Only" box now configure Home/ POI Warnings etc and the unit will remember them.

As a tip once you get it configured as you want, on the PDA use File Explorer to find the .cfg file tap and hold select "Copy" then go to another folder (create one if need be) and select paste - keep a secure copy of this file then if the device looses its settings its a matter of seconds to set it all up again - Mike

Cant find the CFG file

Actually found it. Just cant uncheck the read only box.

With the card in a card reader you should be able to do this, what version of TTN are you using? - Mike

The card might be write protected, try moving the little slider on one edge
