Traffic Hotspots - Possible?

Hi is it possible to aquire traffic hotspots so you can navigate to places while avoiding the said roads? Don't really want to splash out on tomtom traffic!

Don't know where you live but over here we use Google Maps Mobile (gmm) - they include current traffic conditions.

You will still have to change your route manually, but the data is much more reliable than TomTom.
